Randolph, VT – Today, U.S. Senator Peter Welch (D-Vt.) announced registration for the Women’s Economic Opportunity Conference, held in Randolph on June 8th is open. Vermonters interested in attending this free event can learn more and sign up by visiting the Senator’s website.

There is tremendous opportunity for the women of Vermont to play a greater role in our state, and it’s crucial we tap into that potential. It’s an honor to continue the tradition of the Women’s Economic Opportunity Conference, championed for over two decades by Senator Leahy, and help connect Vermonters to career, networking, and economic opportunities,” said Senator Welch.
The Women’s Economic Opportunity Conference was created by Senator Patrick Leahy and his wife Marcelle and is a Vermont tradition for 25 years. Senator Welch is pleased to continue this tradition of bringing Vermonters together to learn, network, and build the economic opportunity for women in Vermont and across the country.
The conference will take place on June 8th, 2024, at Vermont State University-Randolph in Randolph, Vermont from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
