Senator Peter Welch will host a Listening Session in Waitsfield with community members and local leaders to discuss how Congress can better support rural communities in Vermont and across America. Senator Welch, Chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee’s Subcommittee on Rural Development and Energy, is working to pass bills to help flood recovery, build out broadband, lower energy costs and emissions, and improve water infrastructure in rural America.
